30th Annual Phil Kosin - Illinois Women's Open

Monday, July 21st - Tuesday, July 22nd 2025  |  Mistwood Golf Club

 

FORMAT: 36 hole Championship held on Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22. There will be no cut in between rounds and players will be re-paired after the completion of round 1.

ELIGIBILITY: Entries are open to all female professionals, and female amateurs with a current USGA Handicap Index of 10.0 or less. Contestants must be 14 years of age as of July 21st, 2025. Applicants who fail to meet these eligibility requirements may submit a written appeal to the event's tournament committee for a special exemption. Please email Mistwood Golf Club Director of Golf, Andy Mickelson with all such requests at amickelson@mistwoodgc.com.

Entry Deadline: Jul 14, 2025 at 11:59 PM CDT

Entry Fee: Amateur $260 

IPGA Professional $310 

Non-PGA Professional $310 

Open To: Members and Non-Members:
  • Participants aged 14 and over as of July 21, 2025
  • Handicap Index Limit: less than 10.0

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Contestants will be allowed one practice round prior to the event, subject to availability (Monday-Thursday - Anytime; Friday-Sunday after 2:00pm). Reservations must be made with the Mistwood Golf Club Pro-Shop at 815-254-3333. No Exceptions.

**Any tee time requests outside of the parameters above will be subject to the Mistwood Golf Club greens fee for that specified time.**

TEE TIMES: First round tee times will be posted at least 72 hours prior to the event, and will be emailed directly to the players once published online.

PURSE: The official tournament purse will be posted on the first tee prior to the first round. Players must declare themselves as a pro or amateur in the registration process in order to be awarded a prize correctly. Professionals will receive cash and amatuers will receive gift certificates to the Mistwood Golf Club pro-shop. USGA Rules of Amateur Status apply.

DRESS CODE: Contestants must follow the dress code of the LPGA tour. Sleeveless and collarless shirts are allowed. Denim is not allowed.

CADDIES/CARTS: Contestants will not be allowed to carry their own bag during the IWO. Competitors must use a caddy or take a golf cart. Cart fees will be $20.00 per day.
